Sending a notice of claimed infringement

If you believe material on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the agent above. To be effective, your notice must include:

  • a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  • identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  • identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it;
  • your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages under §512(f).

What happens next

On receipt of a valid notice we may investigate and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material, request additional information, and notify the affected account holder.

Counter-notification

If you believe your material was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same agent. It should identify the material and its former location, include your name, address, telephone number and email address, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where you live (or, if you are outside the United States, any district in which Styla may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Repeat infringers

We may suspend or terminate accounts belonging to repeat infringers. Trademark and other intellectual property complaints may be sent to the same address with information reasonably sufficient for us to investigate. Nothing on this page limits any rights or remedies available under applicable intellectual property law. See also Section 32 of our Terms of Use.
